PLEASURE BOOSTER

JULY 2019 | WITH FRANCA BLOCH

As a holistic experience, the installation "Pleasure Booster" deals with recreating an exemplary dining scenario. From ancient times until today, the dining scenario has been determined by numerous rules, norms and habits. In this speculative design project we were focusing on three essential elements: the dining table, a bowl, and a drinking vessel. Each of this elements has been changed or/and manipulated by a minimal design intervention. This allows the user to experience new and unfamiliar ways of utilization. Taboos are staged intentionally and inner guilty pleasures is given more freedom to evolve. We wanted to nudge the user to rethink the ways we use products that surround us every day.
